Here are some simple candle saving tips I recently did for Heart & Home. It’s the way video is being used these days – short ‘how to’ vids which means the viewer gets a better understanding of a product without it being to sales orientated.
It’s winter at the mo – and this video reminds me of how beautifully warm this country can be in the Summer. Although it’s from last year, I only got to see this web video last week. It’s one of a few web video’s I’ve been doing for the property sector lately.
I recently worked with production company 422.tv to voice a national TV commercial. This will go out on ITV, Channel 4, Channel Five and a few other SKY channels throughout December 2014.
Really chuffed with this. It’s a punchy ad – and the brand do loads of amazing clothes.
This past week has been a bit hectic. As well as filming a property video and a product demonstration for a new robotic vacuum cleaner (!), I’ve been busy in the kitchen with the Make It Healthy TV team. We filmed our first video series which is due to be aired weekly on YouTube, starting on 28th November 2014. Watch this space!
This was such a fun shoot. Dancing to One Direction whilst pretending to be in the centre of Times Square, NYC. Credibility rating may have dropped a little for admitting that but hey, I only speak the truth.
For the full effect – check it out via the website. Studio Megastar offers a fab party idea for kids and teenagers who want to uncover their inner pop star (we all have one – even us adults!).
I’ve always been a health nut. I love feeling good – and a big part of that for me is the food I eat. Over the past couple of years I’ve grown more and more interested in raw food. It’s something I started blogging about a year ago. My excitement for creating delicious and mega healthy food led to an idea for a TV show. And over the past 12 hours, I have been living my media dream by filming the pilot for Make It Healthy TV.
This is a concept that myself, Clare Nasir (who you’ll recognise from GMTV) and Polly our fab producer put into practise today. We also had help from Helen – a lovely 3rd year media student and Sara, our hired help who cleaned up around us and kept my stream of redbush tea going! I love working as a team. This was such a fantastic opportunity for me and I can’t wait to see the final cut.
Bohen offer supreme kitchen units and stylish worktops. Man, I’d love one of these in my house! The shoot was fab too. It was a day hanging out in a nice big showroom. Oh, and thanks to my lovely Mum for the loan of her top! Ha. I needed something ‘homely but smart’ to wear. Think it fit the bill perfectly. I won’t make a habit of it though.
It was an honour to narrate this promo video for GB Music Events and Dock 10.
The video also gives you a snapshot of how awesome the media facilities at Media City in Salford Quays are. The studios (owned by Dock 10) are home to programmes such as BBC 1’s Blue Peter and The Voice as well as ITV’s Jeremy Kyle and C4’s Countdown. Proper telly heaven!
Every two weeks, I travel to Sheffield to film for Meadowhall Shopping Centre. We cover features on fashion, beauty, food and events across the centre. As well as filming on my sofa, today I was in House Of Fraser and L’Occtinane (which I discovered today is actually pronounced ‘Loxi – tan’). They gave me a gorgeous goodie bag full of moisturisers and shower gel…even anti wrinkle cream!! That’ll come in handy soon considering I turn 30 this month.
The guys you see in the video – Polly (real name Robert!) the producer, Joe on camera and Gareth on sound – are great. So talented and a pleasure to work with.
